Launching our next site in Lake Country to reach more people with the gospel.
Why Now?
In just four years, God has grown Praxis from a handful of people into a vibrant, gospel-proclaiming movement. But we’ve run out of room—and that’s a good problem. This winter, we’re launching a second site to make space for more people to hear the gospel and encounter Jesus.
But this next step isn’t just about addition; it’s about multiplication—reaching more people today while laying a foundation to plant more biblically faithful, gospel-centered churches throughout the Okanagan tomorrow.
Why Lake Country?
Lake Country is the strategic next step in our vision to plant gospel-centered churches throughout the Okanagan. It’s one of the fastest-growing communities in B.C.—yet one of the most spiritually unreached. Over 58% of residents identify as non-religious, and less than 2% actively participate in a local church. Compared to Kelowna, Vernon, and Penticton, Lake Country has the fewest self-identified Christians and the lowest church engagement per capita.
We believe God is calling us to step in with faith and courage—to plant a beacon of hope in a place where the gospel witness is dim. This isn’t just about launching another site; it’s about reaching people far from God, reviving gospel presence in our region, and building a church that will impact future generations.
