Candice Johnson

Kids Associate

Candice was born and raised in Abbotsford, BC. She moved to Vancouver in 2001 where she received a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She met and married her husband, Michael, in 2018 before moving to Lake Country in 2020. The same week that her family decided to move to the Okanagan, her home church (Westside) made an announcement that they would be planting a church in Kelowna, along with a call for team members to help with the plant, which is how she came to serve in the children’s ministry at Praxis Church.

Candice has always had a passion for raising up young minds and truly believes that the early years are some of the most formative years in a child’s life to lay a foundation & understanding of the gospel as well as a love of Christ. In her spare time, Candice homeschools her two daughters (Dani & Brooklyn), runs a homeschool group called Sticks & Stones, bikes, bakes, and is currently learning piano & guitar.
