The Ministry Centre will give us dedicated space for ministry throughout the week—including Community Groups, Alpha, prayer gatherings, men’s and women’s discipleship, youth and young adults, counselling and marriage preparation, worship rehearsals and recording, leadership development, classes, conferences, staff offices, and meetings. It’s a space designed to help us equip people for ministry and advance the gospel throughout the Interior.

Not currently. The Ministry Centre is primarily being developed as a space for ministry, discipleship, training, and staff operations throughout the week. We will continue gathering at the Rotary Centre for the Arts for our Sunday gatherings for the foreseeable future.

The $330,000 goal covers both the one-time costs of renovating and outfitting the Ministry Centre for effective ministry use, as well as the increase in annual giving needed to support the ongoing lease and operating costs of the new space.

Yes. Eligible donations to Praxis Church will be receipted in accordance with CRA charitable giving requirements. Please ensure we have your current contact information so your donation can be properly recorded and receipted.

We expect to take possession in early October, with renovations beginning shortly afterward. Our goal is to have the space ready for Praxis staff and ministry use by late November.

The annual giving increase supports the ongoing cost of operating the Ministry Centre each year, while one-time gifts help cover the initial renovations and outfitting needed to prepare the space for ministry. Both are important to making the Ministry Centre possible and sustainable.

The Ministry Centre is a significant increase in both size and ministry capacity. Our current Landmark space is 3,276 sq. ft. with 4 offices, while the new Enterprise space is 10,647 sq. ft. with 11 offices.
Beyond the additional space, Praxis will have the entire floor, allowing for a dedicated band and recording room, classroom space for up to 100 people, flexible meeting and training spaces, and a centralized hub for Jr. Youth, Youth, and Young Adults.
