Worship & Tech
Why We Serve
God alone is worthy of our worship. As one unified team, we serve the gathered church so that the gospel may be clearly proclaimed and the saints equipped to respond in worship. We do this by minimizing distractions and directing attention toward Christ. We do not serve to put on a performance or production, but to faithfully steward the gifts and tools God has entrusted to us.
The Commitment
Because Worship and Tech includes many different roles, the time commitment will vary by position. Before joining, we will clearly explain what your role requires. Depending on the position, this may include:
- Preparing beforehand and attending rehearsals or training.
- Arriving as early as 6:00 AM and serving several, or all three gatherings.
- Helping with any setup and teardown required for your role
Before You Serve
Sunday serve team members must attended Praxis for at least 3 months, (Band must attend for 6 months) All must demonstrate a surrendered relationship with Jesus, and complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) along with required training and safety screening.
Praxis Kids
Why We Serve
Praxis Kids exists to help children know, love, and follow Jesus. We partner with parents to create a welcoming environment where kids hear the gospel, build relationships, and grow in their faith.
The Commitment
Team members commit to serving twice a month for one year during one of our service times:
- 7:30–10:00 AM — includes classroom setup
- 9:40–11:30 AM
- 11:10 AM–1:30 PM — includes classroom teardown
The Commitment
Praxis Kids team members must have attended Praxis for at least 6 months, demonstrate a surrendered relationship with Jesus, and complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) along with required training and safety screening.
Praxis Youth
Why We Serve
Praxis Youth exists to help students know, love, and follow Jesus. We want to equip youth to handle Scripture, grow in their faith, and cultivate meaningful relationships with leaders and one another.
The Commitment
Youth leaders commit to serving consistently throughout the ministry year, connect with students, and wrap up the night.
- Junior Youth — Grades 5–8: Tuesdays, 6:30–9:00 PM
- Senior Youth — Grades 9–12: Thursdays, 6:30–9:30 PM/li>
Before You Serve
Sunday serve team members must have attended Praxis for at least 3 months, demonstrate a surrendered relationship with Jesus, and complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) along with required training and safety screening.
Sundays Team
Why We Serve
We serve to help every person who walks through our doors feel welcomed, known, and cared for. By creating a place where people can connect and encounter Jesus, we help pursue our vision to see thousands come to faith and a vibrant, gospel-proclaiming church within reach of every community in the Interior.
The Commitment
Team members commit to serving at least twice a month during one of the following times:
- 6:30AM - 7:30AM — Setup
- 7:45 AM, 9:45 AM, 11:15AM Greeting, Ushering
- 7:45 AM - 10:15 AM or 9:40AM - 12:10PM Coffee
- 7:45 AM - 11:15 AM or 9:30AM - 1:00PM Security Team
- 1:00PM - 2:00PM - Tear Down
