Eric Scramstad

Next Gen Director

Eric came to faith in Jesus at the age of 17 through a basketball outreach ministry at Summerland Baptist Church. That encounter with Christ sparked a lifelong passion for helping others discover the hope of the gospel.

Eric studied at Prairie Bible Institute, where he focused on Youth Ministry. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies along with a certificate of Leadership. Over the years, God has given him opportunities to serve in Europe, most extensively in Malta and Latvia, encouraging local churches, and strengthening believers. Eric has served as the Children and Family Director at First Baptist Church in Kelowna, where he had the joy of investing in children, youth, and families.

Eric and his wife have three energetic sons, they enjoy hiking, playing soccer, exploring skateboard parks, and discovering new places together. Eric is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus and has a special heart for the next generation. Whether through teaching, mentoring, or coaching soccer, he loves building meaningful relationships that point people toward Christ.
